REMTREAD™ has been inspected and approved to BS 6399 Part 1, floor loading for structural integrity and meets all safety factors, for use as a general purpose temporary staircase.

REMTREAD™ is a fully portable, adjustable temporary steel staircase that has been designed to replace the need for ladders. REMTREAD™ can be used on any type of project from large constructions to smaller private builds. As REMTREAD™ is so versatile, it can be adjusted to reach heights from 1.2m to 3.3m with a loading capacities of 3.72kn (three, 20 stone men) and has a width of 840mm which means it can be used in domestic builds or renovations.

REMTREAD™ has unique adjustable stingers that can be adjusted to suit height required with the use of just one Spanner and an Allen Key. It has self-stabilizing feet so REMTREAD™ is always flush to the floor for safety. For safety REMTREAD™ is secured into place by a catch landing plate, this enables REMTREAD™ to be more stabilized and to also withstand the loading pressure of three 20 stone men at any one time. REMTREAD™ also has convenient telescopic handrails, which can be shortened or lengthened to reach desired height. It is fully galvanized so can be used outdoors in all weathers. REMTREAD™ can also be used as an outdoor temporary fire escape.
